2025 Erasmus+ Call for Proposals Now Open!

2025 Erasmus+ Call for Proposals

On 19 November 2024, the European Commission launched the Erasmus+ 2025 call for proposals. This Erasmus+ programme, with a budget of nearly €5 billion for 2025, supports educational, training, youth, and sports initiatives in Europe. With a 6.5% funding increase compared to 2024, it continues to support mobility and cooperation opportunities for learners, educators, and organisations. Interested organisations can apply for funding under any of the programme’s key actions, and Jean Monnet Actions.

This year, application form templates for all action types are available here in PDF format to support your preparation. These templates are for informational purposes only and are designed to assist organisations in preparing their application forms.

Increasing popularity, growing support

With over 16 million participants since its launch in 1987, Erasmus+ continues growing in popularity, promoting inclusion, advancing the European Degree initiative, and supporting mobility and collaboration in Europe and beyond. This focus aligns with the recently adopted Council recommendation on ‘Europe on the Move‘, which sets ambitious targets for increasing mobility and participation, especially for underrepresented groups.

The Erasmus+ programme will remain committed to supporting Ukraine’s education system, as well as learners and educators in Ukraine or having fled to the EU. In 2023, Erasmus+ also funded the printing and delivery of 500,000 Ukrainian-language schoolbooks. This year, a further 1 million art and computer science books have been provided to schools in Ukraine. A third batch is planned for the 2025-2026 school year. Through its support for learning exchanges and collaboration, Erasmus+ is paving the way for a more integrated European education system.

Aligned with the priority areas of the 2021-2027 Erasmus+ programme, the call will continue supporting diverse projects that promote social inclusion, advance green and digital transitions, and enhance young people’s participation in democratic life.
