Erasmus+ Accreditation
Erasmus+ Accreditation is ideal for organisations that have a longer term strategic vision to develop their organisation
What is Erasmus+ Accreditation?
Put simply, accreditation allows for easier access to funding opportunities! Accredited organisations use a simpler application form. Accreditation shows that the organisation can organise high-quality mobility activities, and plans to organise them regularly.
What Are the Benefits?
Accreditation is awarded until the end of the programme period. This means that funding for the learner and/or staff mobility is guaranteed for the entire programme period. In this way, Accreditation enables long-term and strategic international cooperation.
Who Can Apply?
Accreditation is suitable for any organisation that plans to regularly and strategically carry out projects. Note: Two or more organisations can team up to prepare and carry out a project. This is called a consortium. If you want to carry out a project as a consortium, your organisation must have Erasmus+ accreditation. It is not possible for a consortium to apply for a short-term project.

How Do We Apply?
Apply for accreditation using the correct form for your sector (Adult Education, School Education, VET or Youth). If your organisation is active in different sectors (for example, Adult Education and Youth), you will have to apply for a separate accreditation for each sector.
You can write your application in English or in Irish. You will need your Organisation Identification (OID) to apply.
Visit the European Commission website to apply online.
Application deadline for Erasmus Accreditation is 11am (Irish Time) 1st October 2024.
Remember that accreditation is not mandatory. You can still take part in Erasmus+ by applying for short-term mobility projects, or hosting participants.
What Happens Next?
If your project is accredited, you can use a simplified application form to apply for funding (KA121-SCH, KA121-ADU, KA121-VET, KA151-YOU) available here: Opportunities for Erasmus+ | Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes (europa.eu).
